Lucy joined Plimsoll Studios in 2015 and is an experienced television executive with a broad track record across live, reality, specialist factual, drama-documentary and natural history.
Lucy oversees Plimsoll’s ambitious multi-genre slate, working with clients across the UK and US to develop and deliver high-quality content for leading global platforms and public service broadcasters. She works closely with Plimsoll’s creative teams to turn bold, ambitious ideas into successful productions, bringing together creative, editorial and production priorities while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Lucy has particular experience managing complex, high-profile productions involving multiple teams, stakeholders and international partners. Recent credits include Netflix’s Skyscraper Live, a major international live event in which Alex Honnold free-soloed Taipei 101. Working across teams in the UK, US and Taiwan, Lucy coordinated multiple stakeholders to help deliver the technically complex and high-risk live broadcast safely and successfully. Her recent work also includes Pompeii: Out of Time with Tom Hiddleston for Disney+, an ambitious hybrid of premium scripted drama and documentary.
Prior to joining Plimsoll, Lucy worked at a number of independent production companies, contributing to hit programmes including The Apprentice and Gordon Ramsay’s F Word. Across her career, she has developed a strong reputation for bringing clarity and structure to ambitious productions, while working collaboratively with creative teams, clients and production partners to deliver programmes of the highest quality.
